- What does Seagoville Cheer get to do?
- Perform at all Seagoville Football games, Boy's and Girl's Basketball Games, and Soccer Games
- Travel to other conferences and games
- Entertain fans at various campus and off-campus events
- Participate in Dallasisd Cheer Challenge, Cheer Showdown, and UIL Spirit Competition
- Volunteer in community service events
- Perform at professional sporting and corporate events.

- What are the tryout requirements?
- Must be enrolled into Seagoville High School for the upcoming school year
- Must be able to attend all practices, games, and other related events through the entire school year
- Must have necessary documentation (tryout packet, physical, proof of insurance, RankoneSport) on file to participate
- Are there any height and weight requirements?
- We DO NOT have specific height nor weight requirements, but we encourage you to be in shape and look well-proportionate in uniform.
- If I am currently an 8th grade student, but will be attending Seagoville in the fall, can I still audition and be selected?
- Yes, as long as you are enrolled by the beginning of the school year.
- What should I wear to auditions/cheer clinics?
- All black, athletic attire
-Top: black sports bra or T-shirt
-Bottom: solid black spandex
- Running or athletic cheer shoes
- A cute bow
- Are tryout clinics/ practice mandatory?
- Prep clinics are mandatory. Clinics are offered to provide excellent preparation for the upcoming tryout. They are an inside look of what to expect at tryouts.
- Are there certain cheer requirements that I must be able to perform at tryouts?
-All cheerleaders must be able to complete a toe touch, hurdler, and show spirit. Tumbling is good, but not required.
- What is the tryout process?
-Tryouts are a multi-step process beginning with Application, Personal Interview, and then Final Cuts. All cheerleaders will be trying out for the program as a whole. After the final decision is made, athletes will attend a MANDATORY parent meeting and uniform fitting.
