Overview

Ms.Chenard, a Dallas native,and a product of the Dallas Independent School District. From Mark Twain Elementry ->W.H Atwell-> to THE David W. Carter High School. Ms. Chenard went on to  graduate from Texas Womans University with a BA in Dance Education in 2015.  For the past 6 years, she has been a dance educator and director at Seagoville Middle School. During her career, she has exposed students to various dancing techniques and the history of the art of dance. Ms.Chenard has used her platform to shape the lives of children through movement, expression, and mentorship. After years of working in the public school system, she returned to Texas Womans to further her education and she received her MA in dance with an emphasis on education, where she was able to research student professionalism and what that looked like in a middle school dance classroom. Ms. Chenard looks forward to continuing her career here at Seagoville High School and leaving her mark on the Dragon Dance Department!
