Pterodactyls

"Pterodactyls" by Nicky Silver

The Play

A seemingly perfect family becomes unraveled when their son returns from years away. With him brings disease, lust, truth, and ultimately death. This black comedy explores the inner workings of the Duncans, a wealthy family, and how their lives are not quite so picturesque. Playwright Nicky Silver cleverly imbues a dinosaur metaphor throughout the play, linking the demise of the Duncans to dinosaur's extinction. This play has humor, heart, and darkness, and the I am very proud of the excellent work the students are doing on this production!
